You guys are a meatball sandwich buzzkill. They're good actually. Anybody can get food poisoning from anything. It's not the meatball sub's fault.

Lose the bun and substitute spaghetti, and you'd really have something. Or better yet, use the bun to make garlic bread to go with it.

Got food poisoning from Chinese food, took about 5 yr before I could eat it again, only eat it a couple times a year now

Well that's good as wlll. Not gonna argue there but does it look so horrible in a sub form? I guess it might if you've gotten food poisoning from one. Hope I didn't make Lpherr queasy by posting a giant pic of a meatball sub.

It doesn't look horrible, just impractical. Too easy for the meatballs to roll off the sandwich unless you held it perfectly level while eating it.

I've had loaded beef sandwiches fall apart as well.

Maybe that was it. I usually don't get cheese on a beef sandwich. Cheese is meant for Philly cheesesteak.

I like cheese on just about any kind of sandwich except maybe ham salad, chicken salad or PB&J.

I will eat meatballs made at home, but will not eat them from anywhere else.
The meatballs we make are a bit different, and don't come from a mass produced factory.
