Well, after being together for 19 years, Susan and I just completed the online portion of getting a marriage license. Now we have to go to the County Clerk's office to finish the process.

Somehow I missed this.

Yeah there is, but we're just going to make it official. With both of us getting up in age, it will make things easier if anything were to happen to either of us.

It's going to be very small. Her best friend is already talking about all these plans and we're like, whoa! Probably get married down town, then maybe reserve a banquet room at some restaurant for the reception at another time for just a few people.
