I wouldn't want to be pulling weeds right now. It's not bad in the shade with fans going, but out in the sun would be pretty uncomfortable.
My glasses were so sweaty, I had to take them off. It was partially in the shade when I started. It only took about an hour because it was just weeds shooting up between the pavers. I got them pulled and swept all the sand that had blown onto the bricks. Hubby's brother is coming for a visit so I have a few things I need to do before they come.

It sounds like they should arrive about the 20th and be here for about 10 days.....

Saw a Sunbelt Rentals UTV going up the trail with two florescent vested women in it. They stopped and took a long look at some drama south of me.

I thought about picking up sticks or something... anything... productive to do outside and I can't come up with anything that is worth it in this heat.

NIPSCO just sent me a report this week that I use more energy than most of my neighbors. All I can say is, you're welcome, since you are in the business of selling it to me.

Our air isn't on. The house cools down at night and we spend most of our time out of the house during the day. We will probably need to have it on when the company arrives.

Our air conditioner broke when I was a kid and we couldn't afford to get it fixed. Our basement cabinets started growing what looked like spanish moss.

It isn't cool enough at night for me, or it is too humid for me anyway.
We have a ceiling fan and an oscillating fan. Living in the woods, we usually get a nice breeze too.

I guess I should go shower for the cruise in tonight. Not sure yet if Cole is going with us. Hannah had her 15 month checkup and they aren't home yet. She is almost up to 20 pounds....such a little stinker.
