It sucked. When I got there, our intranet was down, which meant I couldn't get to the mainframe, or a lot of other things I need to do my job. Took them until almost 7:30 to get that resolved (wasted an hour and a half of my time). Then the all hands meeting for 2 hours. By the time I finished eating lunch after that, it was about 1 p.m., with quitting time being 3 p.m.. So pretty much a wasted day.

Good thing they have you come in to the office for that then.

That can't be any worse than the odor from the gas leak at BP in Whiting the other night. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from...it didn't quite smell like the pig farm that we often smell at night when it is very humid.

It was all over FB. Some sort of leak after the storm. People were calling 911 in multiple counties to report gas leaks.
