We're getting a light drizzle right now.Batesville is storm for 30min....
Rain gauge shows 3/4" thus far today.
Evenin' Coop. I don't have a rain gauge, but hopefully we've gotten about that much too, with more to come.
Next batch is almost here.
I haven't checked the radar lately, but a little more certainly can't hurt.
And the rain is back. Round 2.
We have had VERY light rain off and on for a few hours. I don't think it is enough to really do any good. Sidewalk is damp but the ground is dry. Cole was riding his power wheels tractor around in it and never got wet.
Evenin' mom. We've gotten a pretty decent soaking. No heavy downpours, but nice steady rain.
It's gotten dark out here. I'm going to need to turn the lights on if it gets much darker.
It's cool and damp but nothing I would really brag about in the rain department. Kids were here for a few hours while mom and dad went out for lunch to celebrate their anniversary. We didn't have them much this week so it was nice to have them for a few hours.
It's cooled down even more now. Had to plug in the electric heater for my legs.
I mean, God forbid I should put on jeans and a sweatshirt instead of shorts and a t-shirt.
I sent the kids home in jackets that I had here. I told the daughter to bring them back as most of them have ended up at her house and she forgets to return them. Good thing it is yard sale season. I have more for Cole, but Hannah went home in a boy sweatshirt today from when Cole was little.
I saw a ton of yard sale signs yesterday while I was out running around. I used to really enjoy going out "saling" but now we just have too much crap.
Evenin' target.
I need to make something to go with the ribs. Should probably be doing that instead of playing on here and pricing parts. Cole's truck now has working steering and brakes...bled the brake lines today so they are working properly. Engine sounds great. Almost time to put on the fenders and do some painting. Cole says he wants a blue seat and dash so I'm weighing our options. Black is a little less expensive so we'll see what Grandpa says to order.
I do pretty good at just picking up things I know the kids will need. Cole is already stocked on winter coats for two to three winters. Hannah has been getting a lot of stuff from a neighbor and a girl I work with so she's good on clothes. I just don't have much here and try to keep at least one outfit and extra jammies here for their current size...along with socks and at least one coat and jacket.I saw a ton of yard sale signs yesterday while I was out running around. Wouldn't the fenders be easier to paint while off the truck? I know that's the way a lot of places do it (I was always a big fan of Counting Cars).
