Snowing here too. The kids are here visiting. Cole is a bit cranky today. Pulled a turkey carcass out of the freezer and have it simmering for soup. Laundry is still ongoing. Had a chat with the prosecutor's office about the drunk woman's hearing on Tuesday. They are idiots and had no idea about her previous history of arrests. Sounds like the plea deal may be getting pulled. I am to call them again on Monday for an update after the woman I talked to discusses with the prosecutory....incompetence in government. Who would even think that is a thing? :ugh:

    Howdy gang ...

I've been very busy at the beach.

We keep finding A LOT of cocaine at several beaches in Normandy.

Over $160 Million worth of coke have been found so far.

Sealed bags containing a total of 2.3 tonnes of cocaine have washed up on the northern French coast in the past few days, a source with knowledge of the find said Thursday, March 2. The drug was found in two batches of watertight packages on the Normandy English Channel coast, one on Sunday and one on Wednesday, the source told Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The total street value of the cocaine is estimated at €150 million. On Sunday, several bags totaling 850 kilos were found on the Reville beach near the northern tip of Normandy, and six more bags turned up on Wednesday on the nearby beach of Vicq-sur-Mer.

You can see WW2 bunkers on the beach ... now tourists also come for the free coke.
Lots of cops everywhere to pick up bags of coke.

    I wonder who lost it?

They think it was maybe thrown overboard from a ship to avoid detection prior to French authorities getting on board.

I don't think it was lost by accident.

They plan to pick the bags later as they are attached with floatation devices.

Locals are trying to get there at night to find out bags ...

Lots of cops everywhere with K9 units and helicopters, also finding more at sea.

    :shady:

That 160M is an estimate from a few days ago when they only found 850 kgs (1,873 pounds) I think.
    Now it's over 2 tons.
So it could be over 400M so far.
Holy cow that is a lot.

How much area are we talking about? That must quite a few people to police the area.

I'm assuming you guys have something like our Coast Guard that is involved.

    Seriously that's pretty crazy though.

It's crazy that people just flock to the shores trying to find it even with authorities out there already.

You have random locals hoping to find a few bags but I'm sure you also have organized crime trying to get their stuff back.

They don't care if the cops are there or not.
