I think that 1300 would be more fair of a price.

Same here. That is new component price or close to it. IMO it is not a deal but also not a rip off either as it is pretty good stuff.

At $1,500 you done excellent. Only thing that matters is it's yours and the accuracy shows it's worth. Sweet piece man, enjoy it!

If he shot that group using handloads, don't forget to get the recipe as well!

He shot the group with 77 grain federal match. I finally got curious and called spikes to get a quote as new. Replacing the DD rail with a SAR this gun sells new for 1850, minus the trigger, stock and BUIS. So overall I am very happy. Should be here by this weekend.

Need to get my hands on some of that, all I've found locally (Greenwood, 30 mins from me) is the Hornady Match, which does well for me, but want to try the Gold Medal Match too...
