My opinion...
I was law enforcement in the air force. I hated dress blues. They were impractical and uncomfortable. When the base went into closure stays, we were allowed to wear BDUs and it was heaven. I see the practical side of law enforcement wearing BDU type uniforms, and I have no problem with it.
I agree with the author's opinion on police owning items that regular people can only dream of.
