Oklahoma cop drops hostage taker with 1 shot, saves 2 y/o

Mayor Bloomberg can't wait for the police to release the dead scumbag's name so he can add it to his list of gun violence "victims".

Of course this could never happen in New York City, one has to be able to hit his intended target with one shot (not the innocent bystander).

What would she have done about what? I think he identified his mark as soon as she walked so far away for so long with her back turned. If she had been more vigilant and closer to her kid, he may have just not even picked her... who knows what would have transpired. Maybe he would have determined the whole thing to be too hard since adults were the only people left, and he might have just decided to not try anything. Who knows what's in the mind of a deranged person anyhow.
My point was that the mom should have never walked away from her baby and ignored everything going on out of her sight.
