    I believe another member asked if the tires had been rotated in the 20 k miles the car has been driven.. what was the answer? Also what type of driving does the op's ride get? All highway miles and no rotations I would expect the inner tread to be worn. Tires should be rotated every 3-5k miles to achieve optimal tread wear life.

    As a rule, I don't rotate tires...I am in outside sales and drive 50-60K a year. I'll buy a new set of 4 tires, replace the front ones at 40-45K and the back ones at 80-90K...That system has worked for me since 1985...
