I know someone on her route. This lady would fill out paperwork that said the homeowner wanted to come to the post office to pick up boxes or anything that didn't fit in the box. Lol, kind of a long driveway, no backin up or 3 point turns for this one. They complained multiple times. I also saw the mail truck stopped in the road with another carrier vehicle and a cop behind that about 2 weeks ago. We thought the second vehicle may have brought a sober driver. Cop was already there, whatta ya do? They had the lane block for over 10 mins? IMO, I don't think this was any secret in the post office.OK a .336 is pretty impressive and I was stationed in Iceland and Korea.
Police: Indiana mail carrier arrested again for OWI after falling out of truck
PORTER COUNTY, Ind. — A United States Postal Service mail carrier was arrested Friday evening in Northwest Indiana after allegedly falling out of her truck while driving drunk. It’s the second on-duty OWI arrest for her this year.
At around 5 p.m., a Porter County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Burdick Road, which is an unincorporated part of the county.
Rebecca Conrad, 48, of Burns Harbor, was arrested after police believe her USPS-issued mail truck left the roadway and came to a stop in the front yard of a residence.
The deputy reported that he noticed multiple signs of impairment and conducted a toxicology test, which records show came back with a BAC of .336.

When I worked at the casinos (non union) our supervisors told us that if we got picked for a random and were dirty to not take the test, find the nearest supervisor (usually one within 5-10 ft) and tell them "I have a problem and need help". The supervisors that told us this were not low level supervisors either. Pit boss, shift, and the casino manager.Isn't that if you self-report, though? Not post-accident or random drug test failure?
That’s the same thing this new company that just bought us out said. Don’t refuse, and don’t take it, just let us know and we’ll work with you… still lost 20 some people to peeing radioactiveWhen I worked at the casinos (non union) our supervisors told us that if we got picked for a random and were dirty to not take the test, find the nearest supervisor (usually one within 5-10 ft) and tell them "I have a problem and need help". Yep. That's the get out of jail card where I work, too. When I worked at the casinos (non union) our supervisors told us that if we got picked for a random and were dirty to not take the test, find the nearest supervisor (usually one within 5-10 ft) and tell them "I have a problem and need help". I work for the DoD as a civilian. In my orientation they said that they don't do drug testing because if someone has a problem, it will become apparent and will be dealt with on an individual level. That's one of the few things .gov-related that I agree with.Yep. That's the get out of jail card where I work, too.
A friend of mine that’s an IBEW electrician, one day mentioned that he to take off early to go take a “random” drug test. Then he said it was about the 3rd or 4th “random” drug test he’d taken that year. He’s as about as clean a guy as you could imagine.I work for the DoD as a civilian. Random drug testing just isn't cost-effective. I mean, unless you're running a drug-free tattoo parlor or strip club or something.A friend of mine that’s an IBEW electrician, one day mentioned that he to take off early to go take a “random” drug test. Seems they select the guys they know are clean for those a lot of times. I got hit twice last year, another drive got to take 5 in less than a year.A friend of mine that’s an IBEW electrician, one day mentioned that he to take off early to go take a “random” drug test. Yeah, they are "supposed" to be random. But I've seen what you are describing many times though. And older guy at the casino seemed to get picked at random about every other month... The people I knew that would pee dirty never got picked.Seems they select the guys they know are clean for those a lot of times.
