Wood stove in the main room that heats the front of the house.
Gas log in the family room....
Nice set up CM. When I was a younger lad, I swept chimneys for a small outfit.
Those wood stoves can really generate a lot of creosote and soot.
Closed systems like that need cleaned annually if you can.
It's really a great tool to have for our long winters.

We keep the box sorted out pretty well. The flu is properly installed (we did it) and except for the angles in the room it goes straight up. I fire it up and run it very hot when we 1st put it into play on the 1st cold day. And maybe 2 more times in the seasonal cycle. It stays fairly clear but I do intend to pull the cap and have a look see this season.
