I should probably take the scooped kitty litter out to the garage to dispose of it...a walk down the sidewalk would answer my question about just what is on the sidewalk....is it ice or is it snow? It feels like there is a fine precipitation of some sort falling.

According to Carrie should just be snow now, freezing rain in another hour or so.

The freezing rain is in Lafayette and headed north.

I leave in about 15 minutes so it should hit after I am in the office then. My daughter said she hit one slick spot on her way to work this morning but it was good the rest of the way. I am trying to decide if I should just leave now and do my Walmart shopping on the way in and Aldi on the way home. I need cat food and kitty litter. It would save me some time this evening.
