SBR-ed gsg-522 The reason I asked about the real MP5SD in another thread. Trying to figure out where/how to get a custom supressor made for it (as I lack the skills/tools to do it myself) and I needed the right dimensions

If you are in IN there are a lot here in the state that can help you get what you want (assuming you have the money). And you could build your own SBR without a class three dealer.

Here are my two AR SBRs, a 10.5" 9mm and a 7.5" .223.
This picture is a little dated, I've changed a couple things on both of them but they're still pretty close to this configuration:

How does the 7.5 run? Any problems at all? I have been thinking of building one with a 7.5" barrel for a strictly play gun.

No problems at all. I have a couple thousand rounds through it with only one malfunction and that was the extraction rim was ripped off a Wolf case.
