I was recently bitten by the Cz bug.... 3 pistols later here are my new favorites. Left to right; 97b, sp01 manual, sp01 tactical

Well after looking at all these beautiful pistols and reading all the praise I think I might have to pick one of these CZ's up. I've always been partial to the 1911 and the Hi-Power but it kinda feels right all of a sudden!

If you're a fan of the 1911 and the BHP then the CZ-75 will fit nicely into your collection. The 75 is kinda like a 1911 blended with a 1911 with a more comfortable grip.

It's the Italian version of the CZ, so it's fast. :D

Any of you fellow CZ freaks own both a P-07 and P-09?

If so can you tell me for sure if the P-07 will accept the P-09 mags? I have been resisting for a long time picking up the new generation of plastic pistols from CZ but after handling a P-09 this weekend I think I am going to have to get one eventually. And if I do the a Gen 2 P-07 (non duty model) will most likely follow closely behind. I just want to make sure they are cross compatible before I jump into this with both feet. I would assume they are but I know what happens to those who ass-u-me.

    Thanks!

I have the latest P-07 (2014 model, not the previous "Duty") in both 9mm and .40. My understanding is YES, the P-07 can take the P-09 magazines, but you can't share the P-series mags with any 75-series CZ pistols.

Hopefully someone more in the know can confirm this for you!

The P07 will take P09 mags and most 75B mags 14 round and up.

Thanks guys! I thought that was the case but just wanted to check. I have been digging on the non duty P-07 since it came out, I didn't care for the "Duty" gun but the improvements on the done to the gen2 non duty are just enough to push my want button. But have recently been wanting a full sized poly framed 9mm and while I have a G26 and G19 the next logical step would be a G17 but I had a G17m and didn't care for it. The P-09 would fit better with my CZ family anyway :)
