The October USPSA Pistol match will be held on Sunday the 24th at the Atlanta Conservation Club range in Atlanta, Indiana.

For details, location and our full calendar of events check out our website at www.atlantacc.net. It has the full year’s calendar of events.

This month there will be a Chili lunch served following the match and completion of tear down. We will need a few more volunteers to make that happen. Please contact the Match Director Daniel Hart if you would like to help.

Set-up is at 8:00 am, Registration at 9, Shooters meeting at 9:45. First shot immediately after the meeting.

YOU MUST ATTEND THE SHOOTERS/SAFETY MEETING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MATCH.
Sign-in will close at the start of the Shooters meeting.

Your help with setup is greatly appreciated. Please help tear down your last stage.

RULES: Current USPSA pistol rules - refer to http://www.uspsa.org/
MATCH FEES: $20 per shooter. RO’s and Setup Crew half price.

There will be 6 stages. Round count is approximately 125.
The classifier will be 09–08 Crackerjack.

NOTE: All matches at AtlantaCC are conducted under a COLD RANGE as per USPSA rules. That means all guns must be either holstered (or bagged) at all times, unloaded, hammer down, with no magazine inserted. You may only handle your gun at the direction of the range officer (RO), or in the designated "safe areas." You may not handle any ammunition or loaded magazines in the safe areas! Violation of these or any other safety rules shall result in a match disqualification.

I am doing well. Who knew I would ever care about degrees of abduction and rotation? (I have increased 20 degrees on both since last week)

I have been bugging the physical therapist about when I can shoot again. I doubt it is a good idea yet. I can finally get my arms high enough but I am still not supposed to engage the shoulder muscles.

    Maybe in november...

I will have a sign up sheet for those interested in the november match I am going to set the number at 30 if there isnt that many then it wont happen. Unless I am told different by the powers that be. Dont get me wrong I want to shoot as long as I can but I would just hate to have 10 people come in and help set up and only 15 people shoot. You got to remember this is Thanksgiving weekend But Im thinking we will get at least 40 to come maybe more.

I was playing with my grandson in the back yard, tripped and fell down. Seperated the cartilage from the ribs in front.
And I use to be so light on my feet....

Still managed (with pain killers) to pull out a win last weekend but it freakin hurts!

A host of friends....I have a host of friends.

I don't think it was the clowns, it was probably the trampoline and the trapeze act.
