Follow the money - I blame the dude that takes money out of my pocket. I.E. the tax man, the Democrats and all who increase spending and enlarge government. They , and the people who, by accident or design, vote for them, are at fault.

Yes, in spite of their not having any constitutional authority to do so. The Constitution grants to the congress the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof. It does NOT grant the authority to delegate this function to anyone else.
