The SOFA was what I was referring to. From what I read, they have been holding talks on the extension. The Afghanis have so far refused to extend it. To me that is kicking us out, but you can phrase it differently if you like.

Yes, we have been holding talks about the extension since we need to know what to expect so we can create deployment schedules, fuel contracts, and such; you know, all the little things that it takes to manage a military.

Sure, they are kicking us out. Why don't you add that the insurgents defeated us as well. Or you can say we are abandoning them. I guess it all depends on your point of view.

I'm O.K. with it. They need to worry about their country and we need to worry about ours. Tired of being the hero for the planet.

They could sell all of those h1 hummers to pay for medical care for all of the vets coming home. I would pay to ship ones of those suckers. I heard they will leave all of that equipment there.

    Yeah, that's what killed it.

Tried to rep this, but the socialist rep system won't allow it.

Yep, that and the media won't cover him.

If only he had more press and all the people found out that he wants to stop taking money from other people to give to them, they'll all rise up and elect him. 'Cause they don't want our money, really they don't.

You sir are complaining about a capitalist rep system not socialist. If it were socialist everyone would have it without having to work for it.

Because it is capitalist only the 1% can.

The Obama Whitehouse is so full of lies and malarkey, I will believe this when I see it. The Iraqi's will only have to ask us to extend our stay and we will. The contract isn't over for a couple more months. The president is just trying to stave off his plummeting polling numbers. The really sad thing about this announcement is that too many Americans will fall for it.

The upcoming election will be important, as always, but frankly I don't see much good happening until we get our hands around congress. The 111th was the worst ever, and the 112th hasn't shown much either. Changing the nut on the steering wheel won't do much to get this car back on track.

Ok, I know you probably didn't intend it to be comedic, but I laughed at that :):
