Actually, I doubt gun control is even on his radar. It's a death sentence in an election year and for dems in general. His one backdoor attempt has blown up in his face, (even though he managed to get defacto long gun registration through the BATFU). Any serious moves would kill any chance at a decisive victory in November.

I disagree. Gun Control is on his radar, and I'm convinced that he will move forward with it after the election in November......regardless of the outcome of his bid for reelection.

If he manages to keep it quiet enough, I doubt that Romney would reverse it.
