I don't know if I will ever go back. It's so crowded, and last time I was there, they were charging $10 for three frozen pierogi from Costco or somewhere that they took out of a bag and microwaved.

When I moved up here and started going, I parked right next to 119th street numerous times. Once it was on the Travel Channel, it continues to get bigger.

We went a couple of years ago. Waaay too many people, you could barely move. Then trying to get to the food vendors. No thanks, I'll local smaller festivals.

I picked up a little 1000 watt generator for $50 at a garage sale. I wasn't planning on getting a gas generator, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up. ( I could have sworn I posted about it here, but I can't find it.) I was trying to get it started when the NIPSCO guy came to replace my gas meter. When he was finished, he got the generator started for me and said I got a great deal.
