I don't think that is really true. When you are there everything is more expensive. It is really obvious. One thing that amazed me was when Walmart had their little store downtown. It actually had the same prices for stuff as the one in Valpo. It was far less expensive than anything around it.

Even the people that live there know it is cheaper here.

The rumor mill has the KFC's closing Friday like Pozza Hut (same owner). I'm particularly going to avoid eating there with employees knowing their getting the axe.

Wonder if they also own Taco Bell too.

It is nice to know that no matter what automotive plant I am at, they all basically run the same. Nothing that was supposed to have been done by the plant was done. At least seeing the Honda proving grounds has been pretty fun. They got some cool **** there.

Gonna be warm but it seems it would be low humidity with no precip in the forecast. Fingers crossed on that. I dont mind a little heat but I sure as heck hate the humidity

Water heater & recirculating pump replacement

I have a 15 year old water that from what I can tell has never been flushed or anode rod changed. It still works, no sulfur smell and hot water is piping hot. The city I am in had moderate hard water. I know that something in the future this unit will die and I'm living on borrowed time and...

I have a 30 year old water heater in my house. It works. I'll change it when it dies. There are ZERO logical reasons to throw away a working water heater. I never flush it. Never do anything to it or with it. I have very hard water.
