I appreciate it. They just picked up the hospital bed and oxygen equipment this morning. That was a big one. I hated walking past that bed in the living room.

Just finished up with my training in Memphis 2 days early. It was fun to see how Jif peanut butter and Smuckers Jelly is made. Those plants are so clean, you could eat off the floors.

Had 2 walk from millennium Park to water tower and back.

Lots of stores are gone.
Lots of "mother and child" beggers on the streets.
Police everywhere.

So ya recall that 2 years ago the neighbors (4 houses down) burned their garage down due to lighting fireworks in the alley/inside the garage.

My daughter lives in a private neighborhood in South Loop. Walking north on State or Wabash pretty much is a ghost town. Seems like every other storefront is vacant.

Rolled in at 10:30ish to the welcoming committee. Her cousin already had the extension cord out to plug the RV in. Parking up hill made us level automatically. Bourbon delivered and he was stoked. Now relaxing in the A/C with some Maker's while I catch up on the day's happenings. Man, Kansas is a boring state to drive through. I think I zoned out an hour in then there was Topeka.

@Snapdragon a word of advise, if mom and any financial accounts open, credit cards etc. Don't rush to close or take her off any bank accounts. My dad died 6 months ago and I just got a refund check from a Chase account Monday.
