Memorial Day gas prices gougers have showed up.
    Free Market . . . supply and demand . . . capitalism

Always fill up before the weekend or after the weekend.

Nothing magic about this pattern, it is normal and existed pretty much since the auto was invented

Just like coffee and milk being sold at a loss at the grocery store to attract you in to pay full price for other items. Capitalism. No other system of economics has raised such a high % of the poor out of poverty, no other system of economics is as fair or just, no other system works so well at providing opportunities.

Would your really prefer socialism? Or totalitarianism? Or fascism (we are close to that under Biden)? Or perhaps a monarchy?

Quit your bitchin, work the system.

It definitely isn't an indication of how good the burger is. Unless McDonald's is seen as the ultimate burger. :):
I have a flashy chart showing rise of revenue and scale of operation to plateau of quality vs value engineering, but my dog ate it.

Looks like I might have to replace the AC this year. Both the AC and the furnace are from 1989/1990. Furnace still works great, it is located centrally in the attic. AC however is running around 40-50% according to the AC guy, and he said they don't make the refrigerant for it anymore, they do make a replacement but it is $$$.

Anyone here running a heat pump system instead of AC and Furnace? If so, how does it do?
