Work sucks. Working afternoons sucks worse. working afternoons while taking three hours of Spanish in the morning really sucks. Doing it on less than 6 hours of sleep a night is wearisome.

I hate people. I hate stupid people even more.

It's 9am and I've already lost all my patience. A store like Meijer should not put their shortbus special cashier on the only staffed checkout lane trying to figure out how to take gramma's check that took her 10 minutes to fill out.

I'm staying home the rest of the day. Gonna smoke a cigar and mow the lawn, probably drink a beer before 10am too.

Grant Park is holding the USA vs Germany game today. Gates open at 10AM and the game starts on the big TVs at 11AM. 20K people expected. Expect delays and major issues at Van Buren train station. I'm leaving in 30 mins to avoid this mess. Hope GERMANY wins so we don't have to deal with this soccermania for the rest of the tournament. Hope canada and mexico also get kicked out and thus for sure no team is left for anyone to root (in a bog way) here in s***cago.

I'm a bad person. Yesterday my recycle bin was full but there was room in the garbage can, so I put the last bag of recycling in the garbage can.

We are getting a new recycling company in our neighborhood. I am happy about that. The old ones would throw my bins and break them. Crap would be all over the front yard. It was the worst. I would be on my way to work and get stuck behind the truck. They would be picking up the stuff and throwing it in the truck, but they would throw it right through the truck so it would be flying out the other side onto the street. It was comical.
