Well I just came up with another college expense. Renting a storage unit near campus.

This expense may save me some money? I won't have to use a Suburban to haul all her stuff across the nation 2 times per year, and the gas savings alone will pay for the monthly storage unit fee.

Well finally got emails back from the USPS. Want me to schedule a drug test and give information for a background check...

Do you think USPS is going to be around for much longer?

Probably one of the most secure jobs on the planet.

80% of the post office branches in the USA lose money and even the Postmaster General has proposed closing some by merging post office branches, but the Democrats in Congress refuse to allow it because any cutback is admission of government failure and leads to some job losses.

I worked the (very large) meeting 2 or so years ago when the last postmaster general resigned/retired whatever... the shear amount of money involved with the usps is almost uncomprehendable. the vehicle fleet alone... they were happy about only losing 7 billion that year. super awesome with a Z snap! the numbers they were throwing around in private were sickening.

This is a rural carrier position, so I wouldn't even technically be a USPS employee. I'd have to use my own car too, which might pose a problem.

Lifting the requirement to pre-fund pension obligations would just put off their woes and probably place the burden on their retired employees.

no sorry, bit before my time for any kind of expertise. carb's were well on their way out when i started and i never messed with many outside of holley's on my race cars and such. try carbs and heads on ridge in griffith/gary. that guy's awesome
