I just cancelled the appointment with the dog groomer for this morning. If it had just been me, I might have braved it. But I'd hate to get in an accident with two ankle-biters in the car.

Republic services is on Weather Delay....made us go out, bout 10 trucks got stuck.....so management told us to park our truck on route till further notice.....nap time!!!!

Nap time plus $$PAY$$ i hope.

Took me about an hour to get to EC this morning. Thought about calling off, but why waste precious PTO on a beautiful day like today?!

Good news is I was able to get my car out of the driveway post street plow without shoveling. LOL.

Lowell was on a 2 hour delay, but they just called about 15 minutes ago and cancelled the day.

No snow here in Texas....... Just sayin....

Well it was not feets n feets of snow but oh well.
Power its flickering here in Griffith and lots of wind.
Just did the drive and wow the snow is nice and heavy and wet. But the blower handled it a okay.

Now I'm just going to relax and perhaps prep some cases.
Have a conference call at 1.30 but that is all.

So at about 5:45 I start hearing this thud outside, thinking it was car doors I ignored it. It kept going and my wife got out of bed to look. Down at the end of our street was a house engulfed in flames. When we first saw it, the flames were mostly confined to the garage. We called 911 and they said they were aware, at about 6:00-6:05 firefighters arrived, and by then the whole house was on fire. All the people got out ok, and were taken to St Anthony's.
