Voting Order

LAKE COUNTY - North of US 30 = 1 vote
LAKE COUNTY - South of US 30 = 1/2 vote
PORTER COUNTY = 1/4 vote
South of the K-River = 1/8 vote
Elsewhere in NWI = 1/16 vote

Penalities
GLOCK owners = MINUS 1/4 vote
PINK item holder = PLUS 1/4 vote
Kouts residents = MINUS 5 votes
SJ residents = MINUS 10 votes

1 hr and 13 mins.

1) Take 231 East to Hebron
2) In Hebron 231 ends and you take 8 East
3) Eventually 8E meets with 421 turn right to go south on 421.
4) Turn left to get onto 10 EAST and take that until you get to 35.
5) Turn right and go 35 SOUTH you will see Tippecanoe State Park on the left and W 500 N on the right
6) Turn right to on W 500 N, 2nd street on the right will be N 200 W turn right onto the gravel road.
7) Drive about 1/2 a mile and range will be on the right hand side.

Takes me about the same amount of time to get there from the IN/ILL state line west of Lowell, but I take Rt 2 and turn south to DeMotte, pick up 10 EAST and follow it over toward Winamac.

@ aclark- any word on when those mags will be back?

With the new CC law in Illinois I hope Indiana doesn't recognize IL license. Make those bastards pay up!

ABC7 news stated tonight that it IL has 180 days (January 2014)to get ccw apps together and could take another 90 days (April 2014) before anyone is issued a license. Tom Dart, Cook Co. Sheriff is pissed cause the State didn't give them any extra funds to perform all these extra searches and finger printing.

correct but do not know when the law takes effect.
if you are a non il resident with a handgun permot from your state you can drive in IL with a loaded handgun in the car. YOU CANOT GET OUT OF THE CAR FOR ANY REASON.

Jeez. This is the first time I've logged on from my Mac since the change. I knew the place was looking different from surfing on the phone but this is nuts! Me no like!

It's been a busy couple weeks and it's not going to slow down anytime soon. Anyone want to help dig a shallow trench around my kid's new playset this weekend?

Gotta lay some timbers before I pour the pea gravel. Too bad the yard isn't level, hence the digging.

I've also gotta pull the audio system from the truck as it's time to get me a new ride. I'm not buying all that stuff again. It's going right into the new one.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Passat TDI right now. Not sure if my infatuation will last but boy is that thing tempting. I'd be almost quadrupling my mileage and halving my payment. Still trying to get past all the negative stuff I've been reading about the whole VW reliability thing and wondering if the diesel is actually worth the extra attention it apparently needs. We'll see...

Hope you all have a good time at the M&S as I won't be making it yet again for the reasons explained. It's always something.
