Gfy is slang for good for you.

    He's promoting their anti-2a agenda.
But Starbucks doesn't have an anti-gun agenda. Nor do they have a pro-gun agenda. They simply have a policy that allows for state laws to be followed (which is a lot more gun friendly than many stores)

remember when starbucks had their pro 2A day this past valentines day....

    anti gun people

    go **** yourselfs
I participated and spread the word about the Pro 2A Starbucks day. But I don't understand the writing on the cup. If I carry around a cup that tells anti-gunners to "gfy" then how will they see it? And if I leave it on a table it will likely be tossed away without anyone giving it a second glance.

    Like I said I don't get it.

How is it, or how could it be, effective at spreading the message?

The "server" was Pro-2A. He knew about the OC event and wrote on the cup.

So he/she was preaching to the choir? In code that is clearly not easily understood?

Like I said, how is that effective???

Don't get me wrong, now that I understand it I like it, but its clearly nothing more effective than an "inside joke" that is only understood by a small % of the people.

We're leaving here around 1500 (eastern) which would be a 1900 (central) ETA IF we leave on time but don't forget I am travelling with a woman, AND A dog.

It'll be 8 or 9 in other words.

I DO need to get some cigars from Bob though.

I need a good cigar, maybe an extra extrordinary larry
OK, I'll cut you slack for that one. Despite the fact that it is an Acid brand cigar, that one is actually a really good cigar for someone looking for something different, but still wanting some tobacco in their tobacco.

Is that like a Leisure Suit Larry?
More like a spiced ham wrapped in a maduro wrapper.
