I put down fertilizer yesterday. I may regret that later, but at least all this rain will get to down to the deep roots.

Did some tree trimming of anything that may hit my head and annoy me. Water weight and crabapples made this easy. Kid helped by removing the crabapples off the branches and making a few piles visible from the house for the deer. A doe and a couple fawns are regular customers. At least they pick the ground clean.

I apply pesticides twice a year. Haven't seen a single tick since the year we moved in in 2019, and that was a dog tick.

It is only a waste of $$$ if you are a responsible adult, with bills or obligations, or you live outside of Hobart.

But if you live within the confines of Brickieland then having & driving around town in a fancy golf cart is similar to the plumes of a male peacock strutting around the lawn doing a mating ritual
