I left my buddies in oak lawn last night and block away passed a gas station with 5 units and they were taping off the entire gas station and units were patrolling down the streets... Had to be a fatal robbery. They don't tape entire businesses for robberies

Apparently the robbery and subsequent police action shooting at Dicks in Schererville yesterday was the 3rd one they hit. Guess they got Valpo, then Hobart before they got busted robbing the Schererville one

Does the Pavillion, restaurant. At indiana dunes state park have any signs about no firearms?
I was there Friday afternoon. Didn't notice any but I wasn't necessarily looking for one either. With the exception of a few properties leased from the Corps of Engineers, handguns are permitted on DNR state park and reservoir properties.

That doesn't seem like a very smart strategy. But then again, committing armed robbery in general isn't very smart.

There is NO sign at the Pavillion at the dunes.

There is NO sign at the entrance of the park either.

A person may possess a handgun at DNR State Parks & Reservoir properties with the exceptions of properties that have land leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (e.g., Mississinewa, Salamonie, Patoka, Brookville, Cagles Mill, Cecil M. Harden and Monroe lakes) or at Falls of the Ohio State Park.
