Had to get a new plate for my truck today. I stepped out of my truck at 8:30 when they opened the doors. I was finished and back in my truck at 8:38. I've said it before, I'll say it again, Indiana has the best BMV that I have ever encountered or even heard of.

    now.
I have memories as a kid of having to go, because my mom had to go, and children had no choice.
    Ugh.
    Torture.

It is still frustrating at times..

Anytime I have a error on a title or bill of sale I tell them the seller conveniently is in the parking lot. Walk out and come right back in.

It's always fun when I have to deal with the Indiana Alcohol Tobacco Commission.
    Always fun.

Finished mowing just before the rain started. Whew

    Me too.
My Mom called and asked me to cut the grass for one of her friends that lives at the beginning of the subdivision, my Dad was going but the yard is big.
So, Dad and I got done, then got my grass cut. First time for half of the back yard.
I had a LOT of sticks/branches in that half, so I had to fill up my trailer to take to the woods.

    Anyway..
Dad and I were both "tinkering" on the driveway when it started to sprinkle.
Then it POURED and we had to stop.
He had a bolt missing from his PTO (blade) that he had used a pin to get it working, and it just wasn't working.
And I have a "grabber" mounted on the hood, that allows me to pick stuff up without getting off the mower, and put in the bucket behind my seat.
I need to move it, it gets in the way.

I'm glad we didn't tinker first, cause we'd have been a block away when the rain came down.

If you are permitted to share or care to, what was your occupation in the submarine service?

SSN-611, USS John Marshall (converted from Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine to Attack Submarine before I got there)
    I was a ET2 (SS) Nuke

    ET- Electronics Tech
    2 - Second Class
    (SS) - Submarine Qualified
Nuke - I was the Reactor Operator, and the Reactor Technician.

In addition, most people have to have a 2nd job, because subs have small crews compared to surface vessels (targets).
So, I was Engineering Logroom Yeoman, and Reactor Controls Division Sound Silencing Petty Officer.

    :)

Me in the sub coveralls, with the ship's diver in the hat, and 4 SEALs .
You can't see it, but I'm getting ready to shoot a full auto 9mm pistol. I think the SEAL is ready to push me over if I Eff Up.

And, I think this was one of the best photos I took.
