I made it out to Valpo in 50 minutes instead of the usual 40. Rt30 was in pretty good shape overall. I cleared 4 inches from the driveway at 0400 in Munster. Seems to be a little less snow out here but that will be changing soon.

4 idiots either stuck or slid off the road on my short stint into work. Couldn't even tell there was snow on the ground with the new shoes on the expedition

This is what jedi texted to someone that use to work in chiraqi but now 100% teleworks for the same place jedi does.

    ...

The problem with YOU and the rest of the covid-19 stay indoors people is YOU have gone soft!

Everything scares you now, you forgot how to live outdoors, how to move about.

Those of us in <removed> and the mailroom we continued to live like usual while the rest of the world hid. We did not gain the weight most of you did sitting at home.

We continued to deal with the elements just like before covid-19 just like you use to.
    ....

This was in reference to the person complaining why a "snow day" was not issued. jedi reminded the person that a snow day would NOT count for them since they are on telework. It would only help those of us that still work at the site and we came I'm just fine.

Lol, my neighbor is taking his wife to work (she has the option to work online).
    I get this text:
"Oversized load truck stuck on 49 can't get up second bridge."

    I bet he's thrilled.

Saw a post that said that most Centier branches are closed today. 'd call ahead to check if you really need to go.

Tech Federal is closed as well.

Since everyone is posting "closings" for today I will post the most disappointing one of all. For the none of you who care:

Northwest Indiana Fencing Club in St John is closed today.

I'm sure you are all heartbroken.
On the serious side, that is the only one I have seen that makes sense.
