Yeah, I have so much stuff to take care of this weekend (repotting plants, fixing two toilets, cleaning out the laundry room so the furnace guy can find the furnace), I may not get the full tree up. We have a couple of smaller, pre-lit ones that are pretty without anything on them. That might be the way I go this year.

Our 4 ft fiber optic tree. I don't even put ornaments on it, and it still looks pretty through the window. I just set it on an end table and it looks like a big tree.

I had ambitions of getting a lot of outdoor decorating done today but, it was cold and a nice day to stay indoors. Did manage to place some battery powered LED wreaths and planters in front of the house, the kind that don't require any extension cords. Maybe tomorrow...

Tomorrow will be warmer. We decided to decorate tomorrow. Tonight I'm grilling a turkey.

Congrats on the new job! Sounds awesome.

As to the decorations, we just finished cleaning up from the Thanksgiving bash, and the wife's already itching to get the Christmas stuff down from the attic. Told her to give it a rest, but she aint havin it. Tradition and all that.

Oxygen sensor went bad for the 3rd time in either 3 years or 6 years.
I forget if it was every year, or every other year.

So now they changed the catalytic converter on Monday.
Service engine light didn't come on until just now.
Ugh.

Back in the day when NIPSCO loved us using so much electricity as those old fashion light bulbs gave off a lot of heat and were so fragile.

Now a days the LEDS can take a beating and you can string way more lights off on 15amp circuit and still pay less than before.

Love Michigan whopping Ohio State.

Michigan State, Penn state game is awesome cause of the snow. Field is covered and can hardly make out the Penn players because of it.

Hoping Auburn can upset Alabama this afternoon too

Edit to add that my old high school (Andrean) won the 2a State football championship this afternoon as well

It's a crane job and it is my understanding that it is in fact indoors. I drove by today and there are no gantries outside. I don't know where the "yard" part comes from.

Michigan was legit today. Would be something if they can make the CFP. Buckeyes gotta find some defense between now and September.
