Shoutout to my Chiro! The adjustment today was so loud you'd swear it was fake, and he stopped. Best I've felt since getting hit in that wreck since December.

Those of you that I have on FB already know but wanted to let the rest know that I lost my mother this morning. she's been in st anthony village for a year and a half now but contracted the covid virus last week. This, along with her age, copd and emphysema her chances were virtually zero for survival, it's took her life this morning. I did get to talk with her on the phone a couple times last week and spend a couple hours with her yesterday but she was not alert then. I don't think any of you have ever met her but I consider a lot of you family and wanted to reach out.
    I'm so sorry, Kevin.

    Crazy day you mean.
Idot had the express lanes closes today coming into chiraqi.
Plus the construction downtown where the bridges are at is HORRIBLE. 1 lane now.

Now for my broken record player imitation. .
    I HATE THIS HEAT.
I hate it too. I have been dealing with this covid crap OK (barely) because I've been able to go outside and walk or hang out in the yard, but the heat is the thing that might push me over the edge.

Commence the "living in fear" BS...

My neighbor has been mowing/bagging his wet grass since 7ish this morning and is on his 2nd t-shirt. At this pace (and yard mowed thus far) I anticipate him finishing around 2pm.

    But how many T-Shirts.

On other news we are on our last roll of pre-Dempanic TP. we have kept recent purchases separate to see how long it would last.

We're still on the stuff we ordered right before the SHTF. About a week or two before COVID hit, I ordered 96 rolls from Amazon. We're about 12 rolls into it because we had some Sam's stuff to finish up.

This is good stuff if you can get it. Big rolls, and it's thick and soft. (I get the ultra soft rather than the ultra strong, because it's toilet paper. How strong does it have to be? You're not towing a boat with it.)

I was given a similar price for mulch at Krooswyck the other day. I think it is pretty standard.
