Saw an article stating that ratings were down and the station didn't want to pay franchise fees.

Rats. Grew up with them. Though, the show is not what it used to be.

In other news, the kid had his 1st T-ball practice. Lord help my blood pressure. I'm going to chalk it up to being too excited and 3 years old. That coach must be a saint.

I'm going to try to get down to Willow Slough Sat or Sun to do some shooting. Maybe if it rains, there will be less cannons blasting to mess up my rimfire shooting. I may be a wimp, but I don't shoot with much precision when the blast waves are rocking my world.

Sounds like fun. Im building a 24" grendel ar now but a few of the parts wont be here till monday. I'll have to wait till following weekend to hit the rifle range.

Best of luck. Last time I was there got into an argument with the ranger about carry permits. He thought you had to have one in order to transport firearms to the range. Yep. Needless to say ,hadn't been back since, even though being right didn't help and almost had to leave the range. Hadn't been back since.

I'm usually at the 50 yd line with my rimfires or carbines, but it never fails there'll be a guy right next to me with a semi-auto 308 or something, blowing my eardrums out, even though I use earplugs plus electronic muffs. I can understand shooting a couple magazines of 308, but last time I was there, the guy shot probably 500 rounds. I finally had to leave with a headache. I need to start taking a half day off during the week, so I encounter less traffic. I'm all for peoples' freedom to shoot whatever they enjoy; I just need to plan my time better.
