Ya...not...tolerable with the wind. People just now showing up are going to have a waterfall. :faint: We have season passes so we can come and go as we please. Sitting at Shoreline Brewery in the a/c with an ice cold oatmeal stout (Singing Sands) and a tenderloin in route.

It was pretty nice by the lake when we went to the beach, but that was yesterday. Is it hotter today? When it gets hotter than 75 outside, it all feels the same in the warehouse. I'm in the office with AC now.

It's stupid hot by the lake where I'm at, hot ladles full of molten iron don't help.

No AC in our engines, so I would only get AC in the shanty. Some genius had the bright idea to cast all three holes on the furnace so I've spent zero time in the shanty.

The money is good.... but this heat... makes me wonder sometimes.

Yesterday, you guys were really blowing the flame out of flare stack. Sounded like a jet engine.
All the furnaces must have been running full tilt.

I am really glad that you guys make good money there. The older I get the worse the heat beats me down. I might have made it there had I started in my thirties, but I wouldn't make it a day now.

Edit: My stinkin' spell check is not working again.

Someone please tell me how to fix it AGAIN. ARGH!

The heat's always been rough on me.
But the last few years... ugh.
    I come home drained now.

Currently 99.1° in the shade as I return from taking my son on his little car ride. Not a soul was stirring, not even a mouse. I'd lay money that every house we passed contains a person that whines about winter.
