Truth be told, I could go the Forest Gump route and be happy mowing grass in retirement.

Had an early Mommy's Day trip in St. Joseph, MI, at the Curious Kids' Museum and surrounding area.
Silver Beach Pizza is pretty good if you're in the area. We had the Undertow: sausage, pepperoni, fresh garlic, & bacon pizza.

Its mothers day, your wife should have been doing the cooking and doing other motherly things. We ask so little of them so you'd think they could step up one day a year and act like mothers!

Well, got the 1st sunburn of the year out of the way. I was tilling the garden while the wife and kid played in the sand/water table. Then the neighbors got out theirs...then their next door neighbors stopped by...so we headed over...a few beers later I noticed 2 shingles on my roof had flipped over. Nothing like drinking then climbing on the roof to do some repairs. So, ya, the wife plans on planting the garden today after work.

My wife got the present of her dreams for Mother's Day, a new goat pen for the baby goats.

My vacation today will probably be spent either mowing pastures or building the damned goats a shelter.
