Any recommendations for a nice restaurant in Valpo? The BF and I are doing the valentine's day dinner Saturday night before we go see Romeo and Juliet at Valpo University.

I had thought about Don Quijote, Bob. Haven't been there in at least twenty years. We'll have to check into it.

Is Kelsey's still on 30, or did they close up?

They are still there. I think their steaks are not really that good any more. My wife says their fish is really good though.

I'm not sure how busy the restaurants around there will be tonight, so you may want to call around.

What kind of food are you wanting?

Pikks and Parea downtown are OK. Industrial Revolution on 30.

I've heard good things about the Dish on the North Side.

You may have to call around and see who has tables available.

I also have a recommendation for Sage, which is on the edge of downtown.

Kelseys is still there. Been there a couple times recently. Was pretty good, just pricey. I would also check out places downtown like Stacks, Piks Tavern, Valley and Perea (I think that's the name. It's across the street on the south corner of the courthouse).
