I was going to say my toe hurts, but after usmarine's post, I guess I won't.

    Good news yesterday.
Took SUV in to have the hatch fixed (new latch mechanism) and the sunroof fixed (previously diagnosed as motor)
    Hatch is fixed.
Sunroof worked, no fix necessary. They figure mill cap got in the guides and jammed it up. Storms musta blown the cap out, cause it's working. So that's big $$ saved.
    :)

At work, passenger elevator is STILL down :xmad:

    Is is gout?

    ...

I think it was from this.

Took two steps off a platform at work, at full speed.
    Unfortunately there were three steps.
On the plus side, I skidded on my shoulder way further than I thought I could.
On the negative side, no witnesses to that spectacular feat.
On the plus side, no witness, no trouble.
On the negative side, no witnesses, no one to call for help had I broke my dang neck.

    So, I guess it's a wash.

Uhh, allergy migraine. Time to run the checklist:
    Coffee (2nd cup), check
    Two Tyelnol, check
    Allergy medicine, check
    Nasal spray (ick), check
Moving out from under the dome of pollution that is the Chicago area, *Incomplete*
I was going to mow the lawn, but that would be suicide today.

Yeah, I'm doing nothing today. Coughing, sneezing, sore throat. Just in time for a trip to Indy for a funeral on Friday and the first day of my new job on Monday.

Have you tried medication specifically for migraines?
No. I've been to the ER with them and they will not medically classify them as migraines. Technically they are stress-induced allergy headaches or some such b.s. I get them 3-4 times a year usually with a weather change in the spring or fall.

Have you ever tried aspirin and caffeine together?

Sounds a lot like what I get, which is vascular migraines. Mine seem to be triggered a lot by weather systems.

I take Imitrex for them. Ask your doctor for a prescription and try one next time. There are some other meds too, but they cost a heck of a lot more on my insurance.

    That would be Anacin.

I take Meloxicam for my knees which means I cannot take aspirin or NSAIDS without being off of it for a couple of days first.

They won't prescribe migraine meds because they won't classify them as migraines although the symptoms are the same.
Thanks for trying to help everybody. It's lightening up now and in a couple of hours I'll zonk out for the night.
