Be aware that NIPSCO will require you to have an inspection before they reconnect to your new service. That means the inspector will be looking at your whole house and require you to bring the entire house up to the current code.

Nobody is installing 100 amp services in homes anymore. The cost to upgrade to a 200 is minimal as far as the panel goes.

Find three contractors you feel you can trust and have them give you a written quote that states they will bring the home up to code and pass an inspection.

I don't think my contractor called for the unhook, or the hook up.

Correct. No idea at this time if the wires would need to be replaced. But its a mute point right now.
A couple years ago, we upgraded service from 60 amp to 200 amp. NIPSCO worker said incoming line was rated for 200 amp, but ran new stuff anyway, since I'm such a nice guy. Chances are you won't need require a new line from the pole.

I think it was Blue Falcon that posted the 308 ammo for cheap from J&G.... Just cleaned them out....

Now the wait to start linking again....

If it would warm up a bit more my fingers would work better for this linking party....

I did. I wasn't sure if Tulammo was worth it in .308. Apparently it is. Glad you scored.

Sorry Ballstater..... thanks for the link... In the Browning it doesn't really matter as the gun is a bullet launching machine more so than a gun... The tula stuff functions just fine and with the moving barrel it's lack in accuracy doesn't matter...

Hit that 6 inch plate at 100 yards....

Hit that car door at 400 yards...

    Hit that car at......
