Got a ride and escort from security at work. And a drug/alcohol test.
Nothing like making a screw up in front of big bosses.

I first read that as "I got a ride from an escort for security..." I was thinking, what the hell do hookers have to do with security.
Start seeing a therapist for the anxiety caused by the incident and claim chronic fatigue at the disciplinary hearing while pointing at your time card. If they give you any grief tell 'em you're going to file an OSHA complaint for retaliation.

And they might die from laughing so hard.

I need boot/shoe suggestions for work because Under Armour stopped making the original Speed Freek boot(f'in dicks). No steel toes or shanks required and I actually prefer if they don't have them.

I'm between concrete and a stand up forklift or center rider everyday. Being on the machines actually hurts my feet more than the concrete. I'd like to keep it in the $150 or under range.

I've been wearing various Wolverine DuraShocks for a few years now....I usually kill a "summer" pair a year but can sometimes get 2 winters out of the insulated ones...

I second the wolverines. A few years ago I was operating a machine that required me to stand, walk and work on steel grating. I threw away my redwings after a week and bought wolverines and have never looked back.

+1 for wolverine. I've had mine for 3 years now. Work outside in all the different weather and they hold up good. I just put new insoles in when I need them.
