I was thinking about this. Its one of the few places I can remember up there.

Is there anyplace in Whiting other than Keiths that is worth going to? Might be nice to walk thru downtown?

I thought about Chinatown because there is so much variety up there and after being stuck sitting on a train it might be nice for her to be able to walk a bit before she is stuck sitting on an airplane.

SATURDAY LATE LUNCH ideas???

Dasha is taking the South Shore from Notre Dame to the East Chicago, IN station. I pick her up there and need to get her to O'Hare airport. We have time to stop for a nice, late lunch somewhere between East Chicago and O'Hare.

Any restaurant ideas from any of you on where we could go for good food that is reasonable close to that travel path? East Chicago, North Hammond, Whiting. Maybe skip local and go to Chinatown? Thoughts?

We'd be having lunch about 2:30pm so can't go to Keith's in Whiting because that opens at 5pm.

Called CRST Home Solutions this morning, and they said that their phone system has been sending out all kinds of weird calls lately and IT was working on it. I verified that another dishwasher order had not been placed, so it's all good.
