Feels like a storm coming but weather app shows nothing coming.
No storms. Just wind shift and colder temps thru tomorrow. Think a high of 60-62 tomorrow is all. Warms back up Thursday, then back down Friday (chance of rain) and Saturday

I guess I didn’t realize how heavy 500# is until it was here…… what a mess lol my back will be hurting tomorrow. Only 10 stairs but made me work for it. Wood stove is in place now. Hearth / mantle / chimney left to do…. Easy peasy

I wish I had a dollar for every lawn I mowed as a kid - actually I guess I did - that is about what I got.
One time, I asked Dad what he was going to pay me for chores.
He told me he'd let me live in the house.

    Good bargaining.

Later as an adult, he told me he was going to pay me.
But then charge me for each night slept in my bed, and each meal.
It would have cost more than what I made.

I'm glad he went with option A.

Yeah, I never got a penny for mowing our own lawn(or any chores for that matter), I would get on my bike and hit up all the cabins on the lakes looking for customers.

500# can be obstinate if it's not ready to go where you want it to go. I had a small 200 pounder I had to lower down the basement steps on my own and it almost killed me. Once it went over the edge we were heading to the basement and I no longer had a say in the matter. I didn't want to put myself below it but trying to control it from above didn't work out too well either, but nothing got broken and nobody was killed.

this was my biggest fear because if that 500# wanted to go somewhere that’s where it was gonna go lol and I was concerned about it going back DOWN the stairs.
