well told customer to try warranty, said they already called bosak nissan yesterday, was told to pound sand, the warranty is 60 months. told them to contact nissan usa. our involvement is over but asked them to keep us informed, guess we'll see.
So, they had the smaller battery. Bummer.

Manufacturers will often try very hard to not cover repairs under warranty, especially big ones.

****ing pissed. Came to my rheumatologist appointment, which is on the second floor. The only elevator is out of order because they are installing new carpeting. I had to take the stairs, and I had to leave Mama Snap in the lobby. She's afraid of being by herself for that long, and also her memory is slipping.

Who does this **** in a doctor's office during business hours?

The problem is they didn't cycle the battery.

You cannot leave a battery on charge 24/7. It needs to be cycled. You don't want a top charge.

We don't know how to use lith ion batteries yet.

    Smarter Chargers -
    Stop charging when full
    Monitor connection
If left connected for X days -
    Auto Discharge / Recharge
    Repeat

Why would I want my batteries to discharge?

There are smart features built into a lot of the newer EVs. I am still learning mine. The key is to actually read the recommendations and follow them.

    Per multiple Recommendations

It's best to store your lithium-ion batteries at around a 40-50% state of charge if you plan to use them immediately. You should also be mindful that lithium-ion batteries can suffer damage if you overcharge them for too long

At a rheumatologist's office no less where people have a difficult time with stairs. Don't know which is worse, the elevator being
out or a the quack being on the 2nd floor with that specialty. I quit going to them because the meds never worked and made me
dizzy(er) and I feel a little better with quill oil and D3.

The office staff was not aware of it until after they had started. When we got there, they had just spread the glue on the floor of the elevator..

Yeah, ridiculous that Rheumatology is upstairs. They just moved into this building a few weeks ago.
