    if u r going to be outside for long periods of time then yes skip the sandals.

    If it's just a quick jump into the car to store and back. Wear them but take socks/shoes in case u need them. Flat tire, out of gas, etc..
    Those of use who got their Sub Zero patch in scouts have made vows that anything above 32 degrees is beach weather. Three days and three nights where the warmest it got was below 0. If you had that patch, you were considered an actual badass back in the day. They don't even allow that anymore, or at least it is no longer a council thing, some individual troops might still give it out.

    I used to do really well in the cold….. not so much anymore. But I believe wet gloves and “5 more minutes” to finish snow blowing the driveway last year did my hands in for good… even 40-50 degrees my hands HURT now. Assuming some sort of mild frost bite since nothing fell off.
