Noblesville gun show

Anybody every been to the Noblesville gun show, their is one this weekend. I just wanted to know if it was any good ?

It's the one that's normally at the Holt Road Armory in Indianapolis. It's at the Noblesville 4H Fairgrounds this weekend. If you know where the Wal-Mart on SR37 is, then you can see the Fairgrounds from there as the parking lot adjoins the fairground fields.

I believe this is the first one that Danny Hedger has had at the Noblesville Hamilton County fair grounds. Usually his shows are mostly firearms. With the way things are these days, who knows, but I plan on checking it out on Saturday morning.

I went to it in 1988. Somehow I think that experience is now irrelevant. I do remember that it was not too large.

Is this a real gun show or the antique (muskets, etc.) gun show?

As mentioned, it is a "real" gun show that was scheduled to be in Indianapolis until a few weeks ago.

When they had it down at the Armory, it wasn't too bad. Found a couple deals, but it all depends on what you're looking for.

I may have to swing down there and see what I can find in the way of some 10 and 15 rd 1911 mags. Maybe some ammo if I'm lucky.

With all the Hamilton County members, I'd think we could make the Jim Dandy SRO.

Perkins would be a little tougher, but I'd bet we could put a crimp in their bacon supply.
