You don't blend In well anyways. Your too tall and have that cop look.
Let me rephrase...I give him my cart and begin to walk away. The kid speaks up"Excuse me, sir" I reply, "Yes" he asks "Are you a police officer?"
I believe he was referring to the first 'kid'. As in you'd get a free drink.
Maybe, though no one comes up to me and asks. I try to be the fly on the wall when I'm out and about. You don't blend In well anyways. Your too tall and have that cop look.
Neither do I, I suppose. Nobody ever asks me that question.I'm cleaned up and wear nice clothes and I've never been asked if I was a cop. Even in nice clothes, when you're a fat bald guy, I guess I don't fit the profile.
This ^^^^^^^ and I am sure those that ask are not trying to be anti-anything. People just LOVE starting conversations with LEO's out of the bluePeople are not used to seeing a person without a badge carrying a firearm. The fact that they ask insinuates that they know there are those people though. It's just a natural reaction for some and can lead to a nice conversation most of the time.
