Each year I sort the brass cases that hit the ground during NFA Weekend.

The shotgun hulls and steel cases go to the trash. (If someone wants 5 gallons of hulls, let me know.)

Reloadable brass gets sorted and cleaned and the brass that can't be reloaded is collected and may eventually get sold for scrap along with my own scrap brass.

I will reload some of the cases and sell the rest on INGO to fellow reloaders. The proceeds help me host NFA Day and other events throughout the year.

    So, this year's stats:

    Reloadable brass: 121.4 pounds

    Scrap brass: 22.5 pounds

Hulls and steel cases: 99 pounds

Total material collected over the two day weekend:
243 pounds (that's 26.4 gallons or 5+ five gallon buckets)

Wouw 243 pounds. I am wondering how many $$$($) went down range :ar15:

I just spied the "AR 47" Esrice is shooting in those pics, wow!

It was very cool, and somewhat mind-bending. After I was done I went to release the mag, but found no AK-style release. Instead it was a typical AR push-button release. So I pushed the button and dropped an AK mag-- weird. :n00b:

There are some firearm questions that shouldn't be asked. The one above is one of them. :)

It's like asking a shooter how much his new rifle cost while his wife is standing in the same room. (eh Que?) :D

Yep, please don't do that again.

thats the ONLY thing I wanted to shoot and didnt. :(

I think it ended up with a broken extractor. I got about half a mag through it before it started having failures to eject. It did seem to be more controllable than the AK-47, though. It was definitely a flame thrower! I was set up between Evan's Black Widow and the x39 M-16 and the concussion off of both of them was fierce!!

Slow hand, that was your rhinestone studded Kel-Tec right? You definitely need to fix the front sight on it, but I thought it was a hoot!

So, I want to send a personal thanks to the Rice Family for opening their home and homestead to us to us, feeding us, and generally being awesome. You people rock.

    Thank you.

I also want to say again how great it was to meet so many of my fellow INGOers...I'd gladly go shooting with any of you guys again!

I had a great time but I had to leave early due to not feeling well. I found out yesterday that I have a 6mm kidney stone trying to get out!

Although I didn't get to shoot everything that I wanted or get to grub out, I did meet some great people. It is very generous of everyone to let others shoot very expensive weapons and for lovemywoods to open up his property for this gathering.

I did get some good news today... My tax stamp came in for my can!!! Going to pick it up in the morning! :rockwoot:

Don't tell me Mr. Lovemywoods did that to you? :): :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Sorry Que. Honesty pays off in the end ;)

No, I have to admit that I did it to him. She knew about it anyway, but it was a major fopaux on my part. He let me keep my man card, though.
