Figured I would add mine to the list. A friend and I both sent ours in the same week last april. He has his already. Mine is looking to arrive in May. What bull****.

Called today to check on it and the nice lady said it was in process and it would be June! Is it just my bad luck, or is this what they tell everybody?

From NFATracker.com ATF Form 1 and Form 4 Tracking website it looks like forms are finally taking a down turn to shorter wait times, my guess is they are just telling everyone 12+months.

I sent a form 4 in last May and got it back 2 weeks ago. I had called to check the week before and was hold it would no less than a month. Stamp showed in less than a week later. So much for what they tell you over the phone.

Are they getting farther behind? Anybody got odds on whether I will see it before squirrel season?

Don't know when squirrel season starts but with the gov shutdown and the bad weather they had, I'd guess your stamp should be here sometime end of May/early June.

Just curious as to what the error was? I see where people get them and don't saw what it was. Can be helpful for thise who are filing and dont make the same mistake. Oh, I sent mine on 6/21/13 too. Never called for pending date though. Hopefully that means we will havae them back in a month.

It was a dumb mistake on my part. I put my name on the engraving part 4h instead of my trust name.

I just called to check on my paper Form 1 and 2 Form 4s I had submitted back in June. The ATF rep said they went pending in August and because of that I could expect the stamps in June. JUNE!!!!

One full calendar year, 12 months. That's just ridiculous.

If it keeps going at that rate, I won't see my Form 4 for my Osprey 45 come back until November. I just hope my 2 e-file Form 4 SBRs really do only take the 4 months or so people were claiming.

Bought a Thompson from out of state last December 2013, it has to transfer from a form4 to him which shouldn't be a problem but we haven't heard anything so he called the BATFE, they told him it went pending march 12 and should transfer to him by NEXT JANUARY, there saying 12 months to transfer to a dealer and that doesn't include the 12 months I'll have to wait for it to transfer to me, unbelievable.

consider yourself lucky, 2 of mine were filed in early July, went pending on 25th and 28th of Oct. I was told 15 months.

Sent in paperwork for my 22 can back in August... I'm afraid to call and see what they'll tell me for time. My form 4 I submitted in January of last year only took 6 months, how does it get so backlogged in so little time?
