does the atf update profire or me as to the status of my stamp?

    problem status 10-12.

on one of the forms that i had to send in duplicate (i think the sheriffs signature) i sent one original copy and one photo copy so i didn't have to fill it out 2x and he didn't have to sign it 2x. apparently this is frowned upon. i hope this doesn't move mine to the bottom of the pile

From the way I understand it... once you go into "problem status" and correct the problem and get them returned back to ATF, as long as everything is "actually correct" you get approved right away. At least that's how it worked for me. I'm guessing that even though your forms may be wrong, as long as they are still able to identify you as you, they still go ahead and complete your background check and all that good stuff. Maybe someone else will come along and correct me, but from what I know and have read that's how it works. Best of luck.

Earlier this year I found out my paperwork went into "problem status" I tried numerous times to contact the examiner which was unsuccessful. So I called my ffl whom I got the suppressor from he called on a tuesday and my stamp arrived by saturday. So my advice would be contact your ffl and have him help you out in this process.

Mine went into problem status on 9-27 and the corrections were mailed back 10-3. As of wednesday 10-19 it was still in problem status. Guess not all examiners are that quick.

    Hey Lordt313

I was watching your post about your Serbu closely due to your pending date. I hope to see an update from you soon. I was told I went pending just before they actually changed examiners over to the state assigned format and thats how I got Lamberger over Dudash. They are both pretty fast according to NFA tracker.

That means you get to take it home in about 2 weeks! The wait is almost over!

What it really means is that they will send back the forms because there is an error of some sort, or some piece of information was omitted. Just correct the form as needed and send it back in. It will go right on top of the examiners stack.
